It is our mission to create a space and products that harken to simpler times; when baking was from scratch and the table was for gathering and conversation.
Granny's Baking Table combines two baking traditions; American South and Northen European with a singular commitment to authentic small-batch baking.
Granny’s Baking Table is a joint venture of Sonya Yelder and Todd Crosset. We are artisan bakers, committed equally to our craft and the people who choose to live and work in Springfield. We celebrate and reflect the richness of our community.
We believe in a universal desire for people to connect with others.
Granny's Baking Table is on a mission to get back to the basics; of welcoming folks to our table, of lively conversation and fabulous food. Come on into Granny’s, the spirit is alive and well.

CO-OWNER AND CHEF
Sonya Yelder
Sonya is the co-owner and chef/baker of Granny's Baking Table. She is a Le Cordon Bleu in Europe & Umass Amherst graduate and is known for her pies, biscuits, scones, desserts and creative sandwiches. This is Sonya's second establishment in her hometown. She also owns and operates Souper Sweet Sandwich Shop.
